Do you have any suggestions what might be wrong with my Foscam FI9828P V2 Dome camera? After turning it on, the picture quality is very poor, purple/greenish and I see a lot of artifacts. Could this be some IR-filter issue? There are also some artifacts when IR-mode is on.

I've tried rebooting the camera several times and turning night mode on /off.

Here's what live video looks like: https://youtu.be/pwrjLWmGWLQ

Hi velmeri,

This looks really bad. That your network cable has a problem can you exclude? But I think you have the camera via WLan run? Another device nearby that can cause interference? Is the image identical if you run the camera directly by Lan or WLan?

Unfortunately, I have not tested this model yet ;-)

Yes, it's connected via wlan to a router. Can it effect video sent to ftp? There are no other devices currently nearby. If I change the mode to indoor mode the errors are less visible but still there. Sometimes rebooting helps and the picture is great. Should I hear clicking noise if I change between ir-modes with this model?

Hi velmeri,

Can it effect video sent to ftp?

Yes, it could. I had the same on the FTP of my router, now and then. But if the video was stored locally on the PC there were not these problems.

But as already noted, I do not know your camera model.
